Nursery Volunteers
Do you love working with young children? Would you like to support young families within the church community? Sign up to be on the nursery schedule during worship services or Sunday school. There is flexibility on the number of times you would be asked to serve.
Our nursery provides a safe and fun place for children from birth to age 4 during the Sunday worship services and for children from birth to age 2 during the Sunday school hour.
Please note: To ensure the safety of these littlest members of our church family, all nursery volunteers will be asked to complete standard background checks.
Sunday School and Wednesday Night Class Teacher
Do you love children and want an opportunity to invest in the spiritual lives of the next generation? Sign up to be a Sunday school or Wednesday night class teacher or helper. We know that spiritual resilience for the long haul is connected to children having meaningful relationships with adults in the church. Our Sunday and midweek classes are a wonderful way to build these relationships and a chance to nurture a love of Jesus in our littlest disciples.

Choir Director for Hosanna Choir (1st-6th graders)
We know that spiritual resilience for the long haul is connected to children having meaningful relationships with adults in the church. Our Sunday and midweek classes are a wonderful way to build these relationships and a chance to nurture a love of Jesus in our littlest disciples.
Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School thrives on a team of enthusiastic volunteers! You can be a part of this exciting event each summer in a variety of ways and time commitment levels. We are in need of teachers, craft helpers, game helpers, snack helpers, registration help, decorating/set up, and more!
Serve Our Youth
Wednesday Night Youth leader
Leaders are first and foremost apprentices of Jesus themselves. Because a leader’s spiritual health directly impacts the spiritual environment of the ministry, leaders are expected to pursue regular rhythms of Scripture, prayer, worship, repentance, rest, and accountability.
We deeply value the impact of one-on-one discipleship. Leaders walk closely with students through real-life situations, helping them discern God’s work in their lives and respond faithfully. This personalized approach allows for deeper listening, prayer, and spiritual guidance, reinforcing that discipleship is relational and ongoing.
Youth Leader Responsibilities:
- Attend Weekly youth meetings
- Attend Youth Events as schedule allows
- Desire to build relationships with middle and high school students
- Desires to teach the ways of Jesus to others

Sound Tech
A sermon you can’t hear is no sermon at all. That’s why we need our team of volunteers behind the sound desk! This team ensures each moment of teaching, sharing, and singing can be heard and is balanced well for the benefit of the congregation. You don’t need to know it all—we will offer basic training on our sound equipment. Sign up if this interests you!
Serve With Missions
Serve Missionaries at Home
Each March, we welcome several of our missionaries to our annual Missions Conference. You can encourage and bless them and their families—and get to know them better—by offering them lodging at your home or hosting them for a meal.
There are many opportunities to serve our missionaries coming for this year’s conference! Don’t miss out on this chance to invest in a relationship with one of our missionary partners from around the globe.

We partner with and support our local and domestic missionaries and ministries through occasional trips and service opportunities.

International Missions
We partner with and support our international missionaries through occasional trips. Past locations have included Mexico, Honduras, Thailand, and more, and range from medical missions to work and construction trips. Otterbein will cover 80% of travel expenses for members of our church family!
